5 layer pex-al-pex pipe offers unrivalled suitability for underfloor heating and plumbing applications by combining the best elements of a plastic and metal pipe into one product.

The aluminium core provides strength and importantly acts as an oxygen barrier to stop the ingress of oxygen into the system causing premature wear (corrosion) to the manifold. The aluminium layer also makes the pipe form-stable, making it very easy to work with by eliminating spring back for easier installation.

The difference between Pex-Al-Pex pipe and EVOH Pert pipe and is that PAP can be used in potable water applications and is form-stable.

EVOH pert pipe can only be used for underfloor heating and without the metal layer is extremely easy to bend making it physically less taxing on larger projects.

Pert-Al-Pert pipe key features:
