The High Output Single Room In-Screed Underfloor Heating Kit is designed for installing water underfloor heating within a new or replacement solid floor in a single room or area. The pipework is embedded directly into a sand and cement or liquid screed layer, forming part of the floor construction.
The system is laid out using 150mm pipe centres, allowing it to deliver higher heat output while operating at lower water temperatures. This makes it suitable for use with air source heat pumps (ASHP) as well as conventional boiler systems.
The 16mm pipe is fixed onto insulation using clips or rails before being covered with screed. Once installed, the screed layer surrounds the pipework, helping to spread heat evenly across the entire floor area.
This kit is intended for single room heating zones, making it suitable for areas such as extensions, kitchens, bathrooms, or open-plan spaces. It can operate independently or connect into a larger heating system if required.
The insulation layer beneath the pipework reduces heat loss into the subfloor, helping direct heat upwards into the room and improving overall system efficiency.
Each kit includes all components required for installation, including 16mm barrier pipe, stainless steel manifold, pump and mixing valve assembly, pipe fixtures and connection fittings. All components are sized to suit the selected floor area.
